    Our office calls or texts you to set the inspection time.

  3. We check the whole roof

    Shingles, ridge and hips, valleys, flashing, pipe boots, and vents. Dents on soft metal show that hail hit, and roughly how big it was.

  4. You see the photos

    Damage, no damage, or something to watch, in plain words. If there's no real damage, we'll say so.

If we find storm damage

We show you, and explain your options.

You see the photos. We explain whether it's a repair or a new roof, and what each would involve. We can provide photos and written documentation for your records, and for your insurer if you need it.

If we don't

We tell you, and that's the end of it.

No claim to push, and nothing to pay. If something is worth keeping an eye on, we'll point it out.

Storm damage questions.

Is the inspection really free?
Yes. We get on the roof, measure it, and photograph the shingles, flashing, vents, and pipes. We look in the attic where we can get to it, then go through the photos with you. The written quote comes after the visit, not on the spot.
Do I need to be home for the inspection?
It helps, but you don't have to be. We like to hear what you've noticed before we go up, and to go through the photos with you after. If you can't be there, we go through them with you later.
How do I know if my roof has storm damage?
Often you can't tell from the ground. Hail bruises and lifted shingles are easiest to see up close. A free inspection answers it either way.
Should I file an insurance claim right away?
Get the roof looked at first, so you know what you're dealing with. If there's real damage and you decide to file, we'll document what we see. The insurance company makes the coverage decision.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes, and we make the process as easy as we can for you. We can meet the adjuster at your roof and send your insurer our photos and estimate. What your policy covers is between you and your insurer.
Will you tell me if there's no real damage?
Yes. If the roof doesn't show storm damage, we'll tell you, and you owe nothing.
How long do I have after a storm?
It depends on your policy, so check it or ask your agent. Damage gets harder to show the longer it sits, so it's worth an inspection soon after the storm.
What can I check from the ground?
Grit at the downspouts, dents on gutters and the AC unit, and shingle pieces in the yard. Please don't climb up to look.
